Meet Dr. Chloe Haaz
Bring calm and connection back into your life
Adult & child psychologist in Philadelphia
You’ve come to the right place.
I believe that therapy should bring lasting change.
I’m Dr. Chloe Haaz and I help parents, children, adolescents, and young adults who are driven, curious, sensitive, and high-achieving. You have it in you to crush anxiety, you just need a little help getting there. My goal is to help young people and parents understand what’s going on with themselves in a way that promotes peace and limits over-thinking & conflict.
You may find yourself surprised by all the grown-up stuff your child is dealing with and unsure how to help. Making the time to help your child strengthen their tools to overcome anxiety and adjust to change is a tremendous, life-long gift.
You or your child can gain the confidence and direction to take the next step of growing up together.
Unique support for parents
As your therapist, I encourage growth every step of the way.
Despite being driven, you or your child is struggling with anxiety, panic attacks, big decisions, a change in the family, or thoughts of harming themselves. The amazing sensitivity - that incredible awareness of what’s going on around you - is also the thing that gets in your way.
Therapy is a safe place where you or your child can talk about anything. I listen non-judgmentally and offer feedback designed to give you or your young person a fresh perspective. Together, we tap into their natural gifts to guide their decision-making, choices and relationships.
My guiding principles
Honesty
Kids deserve honesty. I believe in developmentally-appropriate, forthcoming answers to tough questions and topics.
Safety
Growth takes a secure foundation. I assess for safety throughout the therapy process.
Multicultural Care
We all experience degrees of oppression in our society. There’s not too many places we get to talk about that. This is one of them.
Education
I give you the intel to understand yourself or your child better. The more you know, the more empowered you feel.
Collaboration
Working with parents, physicians, psychiatrists and schools as a treatment team deepens your child’s system of support.
